The Challenge

Following an acquisition, Southdowns Dental Care found themselves with an inherited technology stack that was outdated, fragile and unfit for the demands of a modern dental practice. With patient data, practice management systems and day-to-day operations all dependent on technology, there was little room for delay, they needed immediate expert guidance to stabilise, modernise and future-proof their IT environment from the ground up.

The Solution

We were engaged immediately to assess the existing setup and build a clear modernisation plan. Working quickly but carefully, we migrated the practice from legacy ISP-hosted email to Microsoft 365, and replaced their existing BT landline telephony with Microsoft Teams Phone,  consolidating communications onto a single, reliable platform.

Domain and hosting were migrated to a new, more robust platform, and we provided hands-on IT Service Desk support throughout the transition to keep the practice running smoothly.

Alongside the migrations, we deployed endpoint security, antivirus and managed the practice’s network and infrastructure, and provided strategic advice on practice management systems to help the team make informed decisions about their clinical software.
